Reserving Your Session
To reserve your session time for senior portraits, the deposit and session fee are required. The deposit is then applied to your print/product order. We will need to know which session your are choosing when you call to schedule your appointment so we can a lot the correct amount of time for photography. If you are booking over the phone you can do so by credit card. If you need to reschedule, it must be done 24 hours before your session. We will set up a time for your presentation appointment at this time as well so have those schedule books handy!
Minimum Print Order Requirement
Each session has a minimum order requirement for prints, product or files. There is nothing more frustrating then having a great experience with a business and then when it comes time to order being expected to spend in a range that you didn't see coming. The amount of images that are provided for you coincide with the minimum...the more images you have taken the more images your going to LOVE and want. We do offer a mini session that has no minimum purchase requirement if you are looking to do a smaller order.
Signature Sessions
All Signature Sessions come with a complimentary clothing and design consultation to help ensure a successful session. Sessions can be done in studio, outdoors, on location or in your home. As long as its within 20 miles of the studio you can choose to go wherever you want at no extra charge! Signature sessions offer unlimited outfits within the given amount of time (each session has a recommended number of outfits below). We recommend developing a style that is cohesive throughout the session to allow for well designed multiple image pieces. Choosing to do multiple locations within your signature session is a great way to get more variety and more images to choose from! If you want a ton of variety pick a session with multiple locations!
Travel fees may apply for locations more then 20 miles from the studio.* Deposit and session fee are due at the time of booking. ** The deposit can be used towards your order however you would like.** If you need to reschedule or cancel your session, it must be done within 5 business days. Since few people are prepared to have a sessions scheduled in short notice, we do not refund the deposit for any cancellation under 5 business days from your session appointment.
Presentation Appointments
Everyone loves seeing their senior pictures for the first time! It is a time for laughs and sometimes a few tears, as this will be for most, the last year your son or daughter will be living at home. 1-2 weeks after your signature session, we invite you back to the studio for your viewing appointment. You will relax while you view a custom slideshow presentation of your images. Then we will preview each image at high resolution, allowing you to compare each pose, select your favorites, place your order...and your done! We will guide you through the entire process as you choose what portraits and products fit you best! In exchange for your prompt order you will be eligible for "ordering bonuses" that are only available at the time of the initial presentation appointment. To take advantage of these bonuses you'll want to be sure the primary decision makers are with you.
We love small children and welcome them in the studio, however for your viewing appointment we ask that you leave them with a sitter so you are not distracted during this important decision making process for your senior. We want you to be totally satisfied with your order, not flustered or rushed.
To process your order, we require 50% of the remaining order balance. Your finished order will be completed approximately 2 weeks from the time of your order date. (Delivery can depend on the type of products you order, custom designed pieces that require your approval before being printed can take longer.)
Online viewing is an optional choice and is a $100 additional fee for general portrait clients. This option is only available in addition to your viewing/ordering appointment. Your images will be posted to the website for online viewing should you choose to have us do so for one week. No "ordering bonuses" are available with online viewing and final orders must still be made in studio at 5025 Wolff Road Dubuque Iowa 52002.
